God is LIGHT; in Him there is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5
Aurora is the Latin word for “sunrise” or “dawn”. It is the Greek word in the Bible diaugázō.
Aurora means “to shine through, the dawn of daylight breaking through the darkness of night”. It also means resurrection light, new day, new beginning, and light bursting out of darkness.
God inspired this name for our ministry to reflect 1 John 1:5 …
“This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you,
that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.”
God’s love reveals His Son, Jesus Christ, the light of the world, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We look to Jesus (Matt 5:14) and pray for others to receive His love, healing, revelation, and the truth that sets them free.
For it is God who commanded light to shine out of darkness,
who has shone in our hearts
to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God
in the face of Jesus Christ. -- 2 Corinthians 4:6
We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable,
and you will do well to pay attention to it,
as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns
and the morning star rises in your hearts.” -- 2 Peter 1:19
. . . “I am the Light of the World.
He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness,
but have the light of life.” -- John 8:12
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. -- Isaiah 60:1
“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify
to you these things in the churches,
I am the Root and the Offspring of David,
the Bright and Morning Star.” -- Revelation 22:16
“You are the light of the world.
A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket,
but on a lampstand,
and it gives light to all who are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men,
that they may see your good works
and glorify your Father in heaven." -- Matthew 5:14-16
